I’ve been a resident of Second Life since July of 2009. I came to Second Life after reading an article in a magazine about a Vietnam Veteran’s Memorial sim located there (the sim is now closed). I decided to make an account and log in and check it out. I had no idea what I was getting into at the time. Boy oh boy, if I had only known then what I know now!
I have a very active mind and I love being creative. I decided to try my hand at building/making clothes. That is how Phenix was born. It was my way of reinventing Second Life for me and finding something constructive to do. I absolutely love the creative outlet Second Life affords me.
I decided to create this blog to channel my creativity in different directions but to also give me a break from working in-world all the time. I love Second Life photography and have a folder full of photographs no one but me has ever seen. I didn’t want to make this blog a simple Phenix promotional site. That would be boring. I am more than my job. I have varying interests and I have no issue promoting other creators who make wonderful things I love. I have things to say and share. So I took my interests . . . off the grid . . . and this site was born.
Happy reading and I hope you enjoy your visit.
